Studs revealed for third edition of tour

Irish Thoroughbred Marketing has released the list of studs that will feature as part of the third edition of the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Irish Stallion Trail which takes place on January 27 and 28.

A total of 27 stud farms will be open across Ireland ahead of the official of the traditional start of the covering season and offers breeders the opportunity to see the likes of Galileo, Sea The Stars and Invincible Spirit.

ITM's marketing manager Sarah Nash said: "The 2016 ITM Irish Stallion Trail was a fantastic weekend building on the huge success of 2015.

"The full list of participating farms is available at www.itm.ie/stalliontrail and we ask people interested in attending the trail to register through the website."
