Peter Moody unveiled as racing manager for Victorian operation
Handler is currently serving a six-month ban for a cobalt infraction
Rosemont Stud has announced that Peter Moody, famous to many as the trainer of the legendary mare Black Caviar, is to take up the position as racing manager for the Victorian racing and breeding operation.
Moody disbanded his successful training operation in March after being hit with a six–month ban when found guilty of unintentionally administering the banned substance cobalt to Lidari before the horse finished runner–up in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes in October 2014.
He signed off his training career in style with his final runner Flamberge claiming the Group 1 William Reid Stakes in March and will take up the new role with Rosemont Stud in September.
