Perfect ten for Frankel as Aljezeera wins on her debut
Juvenile filly is trained by Luca Cumani for Al Shaqab
The blistering start Frankel has enjoyed with his two-year-olds continued on Saturday when his daughter Aljezeera won on her debut at Doncaster, and in the process became his tenth individual winner from his first crop.
Trained by Luca Cumani and ridden by Shane Kelly, the filly found plenty when asked to challenge the leaders and pulled clear to win by two and a half lengths.
Out of the dual Grade 1-winning Dynaformer mare Dynaforce, Aljezeera was bred by Newsells Park Stud and bought by Charlie Gordon-Watson on behalf of Al Shaqab for 450,000gns at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale last year.
