McHale appointed to position as head of Weatherbys bloodstock
The Darley Flying Start graduate is a former assistant trainer to Ian Williams
WEATHERBYS has appointed James McHale to head up its bloodstock division, the company announced on its website.
McHale was founder, and director, of Progeny Stallions, and has held a number of senior management positions within the industry.
He has extensive bloodstock knowledge, gaming and betting industry experience, and an understanding of EU sports database copyright law. In his earlier career, he was the top ranked management trainee in 2009 on the Darley Flying Start Programme and assistant trainer to Ian Williams.
Andrew Carter, commercial director of Weatherbys said: "We're delighted to have attracted someone of James' calibre to lead the bloodstock team into this exciting new era.
"These are exciting times for the Weatherbys bloodstock business and we're looking forward to supporting new and existing clients through a range of enhanced and contemporary products and services."
