Frankel reached yet another milestone in his outstanding career when siring his 100th northern hemisphere-bred Group/Graded winner after Luther was awarded the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes at Saratoga on Friday.

The Coln Valley Stud-bred Luther was already one of the world champion's stakes winners having landed last year's Listed Ascendant Stakes at Haydock, but this Grade 2 victory took Frankel's tally to six figures from his northern hemisphere crops.

Trained by Charlie Fellowes, Luther had earlier this year finished fourth behind Henri Matisse in the Poule d'Essai des Poulains, before bouncing back from defeat in the Prix du Jockey Club to place third in the Grade 1 Belmont Derby last month, also at Saratoga.

He has now won three of his nine starts, with a further three placings and prize-money haul of £343,174.

Luther is the third foal out of Cityscape mare Give And Take, whose two wins were headed by a victory in the Group 3 Musidora Stakes, while she also finished third in the Group 2 Prix de Malleret.

Give And Take, also the dam of the Listed-placed Kingman filly Good Gracious and winning Showcasing gelding Offer And Receive, is out of the unraced Montjeu mare Grace And Glory, a sister to Irish Derby, Gold Cup and Coronation Cup hero Fame And Glory.

Give And Take has a once-raced juvenile colt by Too Darn Hot named Swiped, a yearling colt by Baaeed and a filly foal by Shadwell's brilliant champion.

Juddmonte's own champion, Frankel, is the sire of 37 top-level winners, including this year's dual Oaks heroine Minnie Hauk, Irish 1,000 Guineas victress Lake Victoria and Prix Vicomtesse Vigier scorer Candelari. He stood this year for £350,000, the most expensive advertised fee in the world alongside Dubawi.

Frankel added to his stakes haul on Saturday when Juddmonte's Latakia struck in the Listed Prix Luth Enchantee at Clairefontaine. She became the stallion's 165th individual stakes winner.

Bred by Darpat France, the four-year-old was bought by Juddmonte for €590,000 at the 2021 Arqana December Sale and is out of Group 2 Prix de la Nonette winner Castellar. That mare is an American Post half-sister to Prix du Moulin and Prix d'Ispahan winner Recoletos, now a stallion at Haras du Petit Tellier.

It was a timely win as Latakia's full-sister will be offered at the upcoming Arqana August Yearling Sale as lot 47
