Hot spell for Fastnet Rock continues with flying filly Intricately
Two-year-old the third European Group 1-winning daughter of Coolmore stallion
Intricately belied big odds on her first attempt at Group 1 level as she provided brothers Joseph and Donnacha O'Brien with a first top-level success in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.
The two-year-old filly, who supplied her sire Fastnet Rock with his 24th Group/Grade 1 winner, is the first foal produced by Inner Realm, an unplaced Galileo half-sister to seven-time Group 1 winner Rock Of Gibraltar and the Group 3-placed Nell Gywn.
The Fastnet Rock and Galileo cross has already produced Oaks winner Qualify and Saturday's Group 3 Enterprise Stakes winner Zhukova, both of whom - like Intricately - are owned by Chantal Consuelo Regalado-Gonzalez.
