Goodwood debut for three-parts brother to Cheveley Park winner
Coolmore triple-handed in Galway maiden
Tuesday's 6f maiden at Goodwood (4.55pm) features the debut of a number of well–related juvenile colts, none more so than the Hugo Palmer–trained son of Mayson, Mazyoun.
A 115,000gns purchase by Al Shaqab Racing at last year's Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, Mazyoun is a three–parts brother to Sir Mark Prescott's 2010 champion European two-year-old filly, Hooray.
The daughter of Invincible Spirit made a perfect start to her juvenile season with a two–and–a–half length victory at Kempton, before going on to record successes in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes and Group 3 Sirenia Stakes and signing off the year with a four–and–a–half length stroll in the Cheveley Park Stakes.
