Goldikova's half-sister gets her career off to the perfect start
She won a mile maiden at Maisons-Laffitte on Monday
Gold Luck, the two-year-old half-sister to exceptional racemare Goldikova, got her career off to the perfect start on Monday when she won a mile maiden for unraced fillies at Maisons-Laffitte.
The daughter of Redoute's Choice represents the same connections as her illustrious sibling - trained by Freddy Head for owner-breeders the Wertheimer brothers - and was ridden by Maxime Guyon to score by a head from the Falco filly Ifiandra. They pulled two and a half lengths clear of third-placed Orrery, a daughter of Smart Strike.
Head said after the race there should be more to come
from Gold Luck.
