Famous Name has registered his first winner as a sire - and it looks like he could have a good one on his hands.

His breakthrough came on Friday when his son Escobar made an impressive winning debut in a 7f maiden at Newbury.

started slowly but made smooth progress to take up the lead one furlong from home and went clear to beat Devil's Bridge (by Casamento) by two lengths, with Red Ensign (Dark Angel) in third.
