Dubai Bounty, the dam of classy sprinter Kachy, will be covered by by Banstead Manor Stud's Oasis Dream this year.

Fiona Denniff, of Denniff Farms, said: “Oasis Dream is a good physical specimen, and his profile is correct. He's a stallion I have always loved, and I think he will be a very good match for the mare.”

Bred by the Denniffs, Dubai Bounty is a ten-year-old daughter of Dubai Destination and is out of the Bahamian Bounty mare Mary Read.

Kachy’s ability to finish runner-up in the Commonwealth Cup and to land the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood should come as no surprise as the family has an enviable record in both races.

Mary Read was a narrow second in the 2004 renewal of the Molecomb, while Salt Island, whose second dam Hill Welcome is also the third dam of Kachy, was fourth to Muhaarar in the 2015 running of the Commonwealth Cup.

“It’s a good family,” added Denniff.

In a bid to repeat the successful formula with Kachy, Denniff is sending Different, a sister of Mary Read to Kyllachy.

Apart from her first foal Kachy, Dubai Bounty also has a yearling filly by Iffraaj, and is due to have her foal by Muhaarar early next month.

Oasis Dream, who is the sire of Muhaarar, is standing his 14th season at Banstead Manor Stud at a fee of £50,000.
