Arrowfield's Andrew Williams sets up his own bloodstock agency
The Waikato native plans to offer a full range of bloodstock services
Andrew Williams, who has been working in bloodstock sales and nominations with Arrowfield Stud since January 2013, has set up his own bloodstock agency, Andrew Williams Bloodstock.
Operating out of Sydney, Australia, Williams plans to work closely with established racing stables and breeders in Australasia, offering them a full range of bloodstock services.
The Waikato native graduated in 2007 from the University of Otago with a degree in commerce, accounting and marketing and gained a place on the 2007 Darley Flying Start programme.
This was followed by four years with Darley America in Kentucky, where Andrew continues to assist clients. Williams also worked for Blandford Bloodstock working at the major US and European yearling and breeding stock sales.
William said: “I’m very grateful to everyone who has helped me to develop my career to this point, especially John Messara and the team at Arrowfield, Darley America, and Richard Brown and Tom Goff from Blandford Bloodstock.
“I have the appropriate mix of experience, knowledge and energetic youth to launch my own business, and couldn’t be more excited about the future.”
