Ajaya and Kodi Bear to report for duty at Rathbarry in 2017
Sons of Invincible Spirit and Kodiac new to the ranks
Rathbarry Stud will boast two new stallions on its roster for the 2017 breeding season with Ajaya and Kodi Bear set to start their second careers at the County Cork operation.
Ajaya, a three-year-old son of Invincible Spirit, was a high-class two-year-old for William Haggas, beating Ribchester by a length and a quarter in the 6f Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at York and finishing a head second to Gutaifan in the 5½f Prix Robert Papin.
The Saleh Al Homaizi and Imad Al Sagar-owned colt is the first foal out of Nessina, an unraced daughter of Hennessy who is a half-sister to Tantina - the dam of Cityscape and Bated Breath - and from the further family of Xaar and Redoute's Choice.
