High quality Tattersalls October Online Sale catalogue released
Auction includes broodmares, horses in training and yearlings
The Tattersalls Online October Sale catalogue has been published, with an assortment of horses in and out of training as well as 34 fillies and mares and several well-bred yearlings among the offerings.
Taking place October 20-21, the sale has attracted mares in foal to stallions such as Australia, Acclamation and Bated Breath as well as promising young sires Masar, Magna Grecia and Harry Angel. The auction also includes mares by leading international sires Street Cry, Shamardal, Dubawi and Fastnet Rock.
Among the highlights are Irish Emerald Stud's Althania (lot 13), the dam of the stakes-placed Maskud and daughter of Street Cry, out of the Listed winner and Group 2-placed Gabriellina Giof. The ten-year-old is joined by Catchline (15), the dam of three winners and a half-sister to top-flight winners Ancient World and Jilbab. Another is Hope Lake (21), who is carrying to Acclamation.
Among those with drafts are Elwick Stud, which consigns five mares from seven entries, and Mount Richard Stud, an operation that will offer six mares in foal to young sires such as Arizona, Sioux Nation and Calyx.
The four yearlings include Blackhall Stables' U S Navy colt out of a full-sister to Footstepsinthesand (23) and Sheraton Bloodstock's Profitable filly from the family of Group 2 winners Safe Voyage and Cat By The Tale.
The catalogue has also attracted consignments from Sheraton Bloodstock and Kilbride Farm as well as entries from leading trainers including William Haggas, Jessica Harrington, Andrew Balding, Ed Dunlop, and Eve Johnson Houghton.
