Prix Morny winner Whistlejacket has had his first mares scanned in foal at Haras de Grandcamp.

Among those already confirmed in foal are Epson Blue Cen, a multiple black-type-placed daughter of Blue Point; Flame Of Fame, dam of Listed winner Feel Your Power; and Barleysugar, a stakes winner in the US and the dam of black-type performer Lord Wootton Cen.

Haras de Grandcamp's Eric Lhermite said: "We are very pleased with the book of mares Whistlejacket will cover in his first season. Around 30 black-type mares or mares who have already produced black-type performers have been entrusted to him. The horse has adapted very well to his new role as a stallion and quickly settled into life at the stud.”

Whistlejacket, a No Nay Never brother to champion two-year-old Little Big Bear, won the Group 2 July Stakes and Listed First Flier Stakes before his Prix Morny victory. He was also second in the Phoenix Stakes and Middle Park that campaign for Aidan O'Brien.

The four-year-old stands for a fee of €14,000.
