Pure Zen has been added as a wild card entry to Monday’s Goffs London Sale in association with QIPCO.

Trained by the French-based Italian Gianluca Bietolini, the three-year-old daughter of Zoffany was beaten only a head by Obligate in the Group 2 Prix de Sandringham at Chantilly on her most recent start.

She won the Listed Prix Francois Boutin as a juvenile and was third in the Prix Thomas Bryon in the autumn. Pure Zen, who is related to some middle-distance types through her dam, the Dr Fong mare Dolce Attesa, will will be offered as lot 23 among what is becoming a wide-ranging catalogue on the eve of Royal Ascot.

Among those already announced recently for the event in Kensington Palace Gardens are Simsimah, a Poet's Voice half-sister to this year's Derby runner-up Madhmoon, and Maven, an intended runner for Wesley Ward in the Norfolk Stakes.
