Group 3 winner Oscula added to Tattersalls December Mares Sale
George Boughey's filly has been consistent all though her juvenile campaign
Oscula, a Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed two-year-old, has been added to the forthcoming Tattersalls December Mares Sale as a wildcard entry and will be offered as lot 1823A on November 30 by George Boughey’s Saffron House Stables.
Owned by Nick Bradley Racing, the daughter of Galileo Gold broke her maiden on her second start before a three length win in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom.
In her seven subsequent starts she has raced exclusively in Group company, defeating Zellie in the Group 3 Prix Six Perfections before taking third behind that rival in Prix Marcel Boussac.
Oscula also made the frame in the Rockfel Stakes, Prix du Calvados and the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The filly is out of the Big Bad Bob mare Bisous Y Besos and her second dam, Adoring, is a half-sister to the Mill Reef Stakes winner and Golden Jubilee Stakes runner-up Galeota, Listed winner and Listed producer Loulwa and Lady Livius, the dam of Group 3 winners Brown Sugar and Burnt Sugar.
The family also features smart performers Wings Of War, Logo Hunter and Illegal Smile.
Breeze Easy added
The Listed-placed two-year-old Breeze Easy is another wildcard entry for the sale, having finished second and third in stakes company on two of her three most recent starts.
The daughter of Bated Breath, who will be offered as lot 1888A on the Tuesday of the auction by Ty-Derlwyn Farm, won on her fourth start for David Evans.
Breeze Easy, a £240,000 purchase from the Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale in June, is a half-sister to Tattersalls Stakes scorer Arctic Sound.
The pair are out of the Listed Empress Stakes winner Polar Circle, herself a full-sister to stakes winner Fokine and a half-sibling to Prix Robert Papin scorer and Coronation Stakes second Ocean Ridge.
