Group 1 winner and proven producer Ambivalent to visit King Of Change in 2021
The daughter of Authorized is the dam of Prix Hocquart winner Al Hilalee
Group 1 Pretty Polly winner and multiple stakes scorer Ambivalent will visit Derrinstown Stud's new stallion King Of Change next year.
The daughter of Authorized - whose finest hour came when defeating Oaks heroine Was and the Hughie Morrison-trained Shirocco Star at the Curragh in 2013 - is owned by Ali Saeed Belhabb and has already produced two winners including the Godolphin-owned Dubawi colt Al Hilalee, a Group 2 winner in France.
Her two-year-old Sea The Stars filly Teona, in training with Roger Varian, ran out a nine-length winner at Newcastle on her second start last month.
Ambivalent, who also won the Group 2 Middleton Stakes and was third behind Cirrus Des Aigles in the 2014 Coronation Cup, has a yearling colt by Invincible Spirit and produced a Dubawi filly this year. She is currently carrying to Sea The Stars.
The now 11-year-old is out of the Darshaan mare Darrery and is a half-sister to the Group 1-placed Al Waffi, the Listed-placed Sunday Symphony and Diary, the dam of Prix de l'Abbaye winner Total Gallery.
King Of Change, a son of Dalham Hall Stud resident and dual Group 1 winner Farhh, won the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes in 2019 and was also runner-up to Magna Grecia in the Qipco 2,000 Guineas. He will stand for a fee of €7,000 at Derrinstown.
