With so many of the Supreme Horse Racing Club’s string being sourced privately by Willie Mullins' network of agents or transferred through the stable, it is not easy to get a handle on the average outlay of a syndicate whose financial activity is now under scrutiny.

Evidence from those purchased through the ring, however, does not suggest it has been an especially flamboyant spender, at least measured in terms of other significant jumps owners.

All of Mullins' buying in France is carried out by agent Pierre Boulard, while those found in Ireland and Britain have been the domain of his right-hand-man Harold Kirk.
