Four days of yearling and breeding stock sales set to descend upon Deauville

Four days of selling in Deauville starts with the November Yearling Sale on Saturday, with lots on offer by proven sires such as Galiway, Goken, Kendargent, Le Havre and Shalaa.

Taking place from 11am local time (10am GMT), the sale also features yearlings by first-crop sires Cloth Of Stars, Dschingis Secret, Expert Eye, Seabhac and Seahenge.

There follows a day's break before the two-day Autumn Sale begins on Monday, again from 11am local time.

The Autumn Sale - which can claim this year's German Derby hero Sisfahan, Grade 1-winning novice hurdler Gaillard Du Mesnil, Celebration Chase victor Greaneteen and Peter Marsh Chase scorer Royal Pagaille among its graduates - features high-class Flat and National Hunt performers, including Prix de Condé third Kergrist (Lot 348), a winner at Mont-de-Marsan for Bruno de Montzey in September.


Monday/Tuesday catalogue


The four days of action conclude on Wednesday with the National Hunt Breeding Stock Sale, where broodmares and fillies are presented in foal to, among others, Buck's Boum, Doctor Dino, Kapgarde, Masked Marvel and No Risk At All, as well as young sires including For Fun, Goliath Du Berlais, Headman, Moises Has and Telecaster.

Fillies and mares selling include Haras des Cordelles' Utopia Jem (753), dam of Grade 1 Prix Cambacérès winner Theleme and offered in foal to Doctor Dino, Haras de Saint Voir's Gradee (712), a hurdles winner and Listed-placed half-sister to Group winner Tout Rouge who is in foal to No Risk At All, and Fishery Lane Hurdle winner Missy Tata (766), who is carrying to Zarak and will be offered by Haras du Lieu des Champs.
