Filly foal becomes first offspring of Darley's Group 1 winner Cloth Of Stars

Cloth Of Stars, the Group 1-winning son of Sea The Stars, has produced his first foal, with a filly born on Friday, January 17.
Bred by Jack De Jong, the striking bay is the second foal out of the winning Dalakhani mare Zallaja, who was bred and raced by the Aga Khan.
The new arrival boasts an eye-catching pedigree, as Zallaja is a daughter of Poule d'Essai des Pouliches winner and Coronation Stakes runner-up Zalaiyka.Cloth Of Stars, a Group-race winner at two, three and four, stood his debut season at Darley's French base at Haras du Logis at a fee of €7,500. The Prix Ganay winner, who finished second to Enable in the 2017 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and third behind the same horse in 2018 on his last start, covered 120 mares in his 2019 book.

His fee remains unchanged for the 2020 breeding season.
