You never know who you might meet at a wedding, or indeed a funeral.

A chance encounter with the sage Robert Percival at the latter presented the germ of an idea for James Clegg, who is now deep into plans to turn it into a fully-fledged reality.

Within the space of a couple of years, the Northamptonshire farmer has jumped headlong into the bloodstock industry and will shortly be taking the daunting step of heading to the open market for the first time with a couple of his foals.
