Dual Group 1-winning mare Watch Me has been booked in to visit Persian King this term, Haras d'Etreham has announced on Twitter.

The daughter of Olympic Glory is best known for springing a 20-1 surprise in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot in 2019, while she also went on to win the Prix Rothschild on her final start the following season.

Owned by Antoinette Tamagni-Bodmer's Haras Saint Julien, the six-year-old was also a Listed scorer on her second start at two, while she also won the Prix Imprudence and was third in the Prix de l'Opera following her Ascot triumph.

Bred by Tamagni-Bodmer and Cocheese Bloodstock Anstalt, Watch Me failed to sell at the Arqana August Yearling Sale when offered by Petit Tellier but rewarded connections in abundance in a career that saw her win five of her nine starts.

Watch Me produced a filly by Siyouni in January.

Persian King was himself a multiple Group 1 winner, landing the Poule d'Essai des Poulains, Prix d'Ispahan and Prix du Moulin in a stellar career for Andre Fabre.

He was also runner-up to Sottsass in the Prix du Jockey Club and third to that rival in the following year's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe

The Dayton Investments-bred son of Kingman covered a full book of mares last year in his first season and will stand this year for an unchanged fee of €30,000.
