Coolmore's dual Group 1 winner Tuesday covered by new resident Delacroix

Coolmore have shown their intent to row in behind new sire Delacroix by sending some of their best broodmares to him in his first season in the breeding barn. 

Dual Group 1 winner Tuesday features among the son of Dubawi’s first book of mares, with Coolmore revealing the daughter of Galileo was covered by the dual top-level winner on Thursday. 

Tuesday's three victories were headed by successes in the Oaks and Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf, while she also finished runner-up in the Yorkshire Oaks and Irish 1,000 Guineas and made the podium for the British equivalent. 

After her win in the Grade 1 at Keeneland in 2022, Tuesday stayed in the United States and was covered by Spendthrift Farm’s Into Mischief, producing a filly by the champion stallion in 2024. 

Delacroix has been sent some high-class mares in his first year, including Ecurie des Monceaux’s blue hen Prudenzia, who added a third Group 1 to her breeding record last year in the form of unbeaten Prix Marcel Boussac winner Diamond Necklace; Tijuana, dam of multiple Group 1-winning champion Torquator Tasso; and Charlotte Rosina, whose three winners are headed by King’s Stand Stakes and July Cup scorer Oxted. 

He has also covered the regally bred All At Sea, the dam of dual Classic winner Eldar Eldarov and New Zealand Group 1 scorer Kingswood, while Misty For Me has also been covered by Delacroix. The four-time Group 1-winning daughter of Galileo is already the dam of two elite-level scorers in Roly Poly and US Navy Flag. 

Delacroix, winner of the Eclipse and Irish Champion Stakes, is covering his first book of mares at a fee of €40,000.
