ThoroughBid's March Sale catalogue is now available to view and includes a potential Cheltenham Festival runner in Grand Annual Chase entry Maskada, a Listed chase winner this season, as well as other horses in training and broodmare prospects.

Trained by Stuart Edmunds, the daughter of Masked Marvel was a winner of the Pertemps Network Mares' Chase at Leicester this season and is the winner of four of her 19 starts under rules to date.

The six-year-old, who has also been placed a further two times in Listed events, has earned more than £60,000 and is also qualified for the Elite Mares scheme.

The broodmares on offer at the online auction include Moyode Gold, a dual-winning daughter of Gold Well and a half-sister to Gordon Elliott’s Grade 3 winner and Grade 1-placed novice hurdler Hollow Games.

Moyode Gold’s dam is a half-sister to Hilly Way Chase winner Tumbling Dice – who is in turn out of a half-sister to Remittance Man.

Petite Buck’s, a half-sister to three winners including the Listed chase winner More Buck’s, and the Listed-placed Barbados Blue, adds further class to the March Sale, alongside All Risk For Love, who is in foal to Jet Away and is a half-sister to Champion Hurdle contender Teahupoo.

Crystal Etoile, a placed Dansili half-sister to world champion Crystal Ocean and the high-class pair of Crystal Capella and Hillstar, is another high-class addition to the sale.

The 14-year-old is the dam of three winners from four runners, including the stakes-placed Crystal Hope.

The catalogue also features horses in training such as the wide-margin Tallow winner Hitthekettle, and

The bonus was claimed for the first time by Grandero Bello at Punchestown two weeks ago and offers £5,000 to any point-to-point graduate sold through ThoroughBid that goes on to win on their rules debut.

James Richardson, CEO of ThoroughBid, said: “It’s another exciting sale for ThoroughBid on Sunday, March 6 and we couldn’t be happier with the talent we’ve attracted, to have an entrant going under the hammer on Sunday which will then run in the Cheltenham Festival just ten days later is completely thrilling.

“With some of racing’s most sought after families represented, as well as new opportunities for connections to secure a horse qualified for our Point2Rules Bonus, it should be an exciting Sunday of bidding."

He continued: “Grandero Bello showed us all that sourcing a nice pointer from our platform and winning first time under rules is achievable, and we’re looking forward to more horses like him going under our online hammer.

“There looks a real opportunity to pick out a new superstar in this catalogue, and we can’t wait to see the bidding begin."
