Catalogue for inaugural Goffs UK Yorton Farm Sale set for release
Interested parties will be able to view the catalogue for the Goffs UK Yorton Sale on August 13 in print and online ahead of the inaugural staging of the boutique event on September 12.
David Futter will be hosting the sale at Yorton Farm in Powys in association with the auction house and although outside entries are not being accepted, it is open to the public.
The Yorton Sale is likely to offer around 30 National Hunt bred two-year-olds and ten yearlings, by sires such as Blue Bresil, Boris De Deauville, Clovis Du Berlais, Fame And Glory, Gentlewave, Great Pretender, High Rock, Kallisto, Masterstroke, No Risk At All, Pether's Moon, Saddex, Scalo, Silver Frost, Tai Chi and Turgeon.
"We are really happy with the draft and I think it will hold great appeal with buyers," said Futter. "We have a good mix of horses which we have bred at Yorton and horses which we have purchased from throughout Europe so the draft has plenty of scope – we have a horse for everyone.
"Preparations on the stud are coming along very well and we are looking forward to kicking off what will be an annual sale."
