Brother to Champagne Stakes winner Saamidd in action at Bath

The 1m maiden at Bath on Wednesday sees Moayadd making his racecourse debut at 7.30pm and the four–year–old gelding is certainly bred to be useful being a brother to 7f Group 2 Champagne Stakes winner Saamidd from the family of Irish Guineas winners Barathea and Gossamer.
The son of Street Cry was purchased by trainer Neil Mulholland for £7,000 from the Bloomfields dispersal at the Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham April Sale.
Bred by Darley out of the 1m1f winner Aryaam, a Galileo half–sister to Irish 2,000 Guineas third Oracle and French Group 2–placed Mathematician, he is also a half–brother to the 1m2f Listed scorer and E P Taylor Stakes runner-up Talmada.
