Impressive Irish point-to-point winner Ferny Hollow looks one of the star wildcard additions of Thursday's Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham February Sale.

The event has a lot to live up to, given that last year's graduates include Envoi Allen, who changed hands for £400,000 from Colin Bowe's stable and remains not only unbeaten but ante-post joint-favourite for the Weatherbys Champion Bumper.

Ferny Hollow (Lot 34) is also consigned by Bowe's Milestone Stables, is a Westerner half-brother to the useful Chiltern Hills and came 15 lengths clear in a maiden at Knockanard last weekend.

Bowe brings across another wildcard in Imperial Flem (24), who made late progress to finish second in a point at Punchestown on the same afternoon where Ferny Hollow appeared, with Donnchadh Doyle's Deploy The Getaway (17), a 20-length winner at Tallow, another who will be of obvious interest.

Warwickshire-based Francesca Nimmo has another timely winner to offer to buyers at the Tattersalls Sales Arena. Her four-year-old son of Maresca Sorrento named Garry Clermont (40) was an effortless scorer in the open maiden at Sunday's point-to-point at Bangor.

Mick Easterby's recent Kelso bumper winner Enlighten (3) and My Destiny (18), who took a Fontwell maiden hurdle on his debut for Brendan Powell, are others to note in what should be a quickfire session.
