Arqana unveils line up for new yearling sale with good mix of sires represented
The September Yearling Sale takes place instead of the v.2 August auction
The catalogue for the first September Yearling Sale is now online.
A new event in Arqana’s calendar, the September Yearling Sale will take place from September 8-9 in Deauville.
It replaces the v.2. Yearling Sale, that was originally held following the August Yearling Sale and was the source of 2021 French 1,000 Guineas winner Coeursamba, who sold for €40,000 to Jean-Claude Rouget by Haras d’Haspel.
With the aim of bringing French breeding to the fore, this new sale will offer a selection of forward and mature individuals, and comprises 315 lots.
A number of leading stallions are represented, including Caravaggio, Dark Angel, Galiway, Havana Grey, Havana Gold, New Bay, Oasis Dream, Showcasing, Sioux Nation, Territories, Toronado and Wootton Bassett.
Buyers will also have the opportunity to purchase the first yearlings by City Light, Donjuan Triumphant, Eqtidaar, Fas, Inns Of Court, Invincible Army, Le Brivido, Magna Grecia, Phoenix Of Spain, Silverwave, Taj Mahal, Ten Sovereigns, Tornibush and Waldgeist.
