A 1/50th share in leading French sire Le Havre will be auctioned on Arqana's online sale platform at arqanaonline.com on Wednesday, March 11, with bidding due to begin at 11am (10am GMT). The auction closes at 6pm (5pm GMT) later that day.

The Montfort et Preaux resident has sired four top-level winners, including dual Classic scorers Avenir Certain and La Cressonniere.

Those names are among the 57 stakes performers supplied by the son of Noverre, a list that was added to on Friday when Bebeautiful landed the Listed Prix Rose de Mai at Deauville.

Le Havre is standing the current breeding season at a fee €50,000, and last year his yearlings fetched up to 825,000gns, with Coolmore's MV Magnier going to that price for the filly out of Phiz at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.

A total of 51 yearlings by the sire were sold in 2019, a group that averaged €118,855.

The share offered gives a breeding right for the 2020 season. Applications to bid are now open on arqanaonline.com.
