Arqana release catalogues for Autumn and November Yearling Sales
Offerings range from Flat-bred yearlings to National Hunt stores
Catalogues for Arqana's Autumn and November Yearling Sales have been released, with the first-named taking place from Monday, November 14 to Thursday, November 17 and the latter being held on Saturday, November 12.
Previous top-level-winning graduates include Champion Novice Hurdle scorer Capodanno, Maghull Novices' Chase winner Gentleman De Mee and Celebration Chase scorer Greaneteen. High-class performers on the Flat include Australian Group winners Mount Popa and Arapaho.
The Saturday will see lots 1-160 go through the ring - Flat-bred yearlings - while the Monday sees the selling of horses in training (lots 161-416).
The Tuesday revolves around the two-year-old stores and National Hunt-bred yearlings (lots 417-567), with the Wednesday devoted to National Hunt yearlings (lots 568-722) and Thursday concluding with National Hunt breeding stock (lots 723-952).
All sessions begin at 11am local time.
The horses-in-training section offers lots from leading European breeders and studs, with Wertheimer and Frere offering four lots including Thursday's Prix de Solferino winner Gaucher (369), while the Aga Khan Studs have 12 catalogued. They include promising individuals Behtar (371) and Shaiyhar (372).
