Amelie Lemercier joins Haras de Bouquetot in business development role
Recent Godolphin Flying Start graduate Amelie Lemercier has joined the Haras de Bouquetot team in a business development role.
Prior to joining the Flying Start programme, Lemercier worked as a marketing assistant for the Aga Khan's Studs. She has also gained international experience working for the likes of the Wertheimer brothers, Coolmore, Primus, as well as Graham Motion and Elite Sales in the US and Newgate and Star Thoroughbreds in Australia.
Benoit Jeffroy, stud manager at Haras de Bouquetot, said: "We're delighted to welcome Amelie as her dynamism, her skills and her wealth of recent international experiences will be a strong addition to the Bouquetot commercial team."
Lemercier, who is also a committee member for the retraining of racehorses charity Au-Delà Des Pistes, will be based in France at Haras de Bouquetot and will focus on stallion nominations, sales and marketing.
She said: "In only a few years' time, Haras de Bouquetot has established itself as one of the largest stallion operations in France.
"Having already had the opportunity to collaborate with the Bouquetot and extended Al Shaqab team members during the Flying Start course, I'm looking forward to working within this operation along with people I admire for their experience and involvement within the industry."
