Alice Springs gives Galileo another winner at the highest level
Falmouth Stakes heroine is bred on an increasingly influential cross
Coolmore supersire Galileo notched his 57th top-level winner on Friday when his Classic-placed daughter Alice Springs pulled off a convincing victory in the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket.
is out on his own in pursuit of an eighth sires' championship this year, with his progeny - including Classic scorers Minding and The Gurkha plus Gold Cup hero Order Of St George - having earned £4,784,610 up to Friday.
Sitting second to Galileo in the European sires' table by prize-money is his half-brother Sea The Stars, who is on £2,760,245.
