Albigna became the first Group 1 winner from Zoffany's most expensively bred crop to date when showing a brilliant turn of foot in the Prix Marcel Boussac on Sunday.

Zoffany's stud fee rose from €12,500 to €45,000 in 2016 off the back of a first-crop Royal Ascot treble, when Illuminate, Washington DC and Waterloo Bridge all prevailed at the royal meeting.

A homebred for the Niarchos family, Albigna is also the second Group 1 winner overall for Zoffany along with Italian Group 1 winner Ventura Storm, who hails from the sire's first crop.
