Additions take Goffs UK HIT Sale featuring Gigginstown dispersal to 185 lots

Auction takes place on September 8, with Battleoverdoyen among star attractions

Recent Bumper form features in many of the 20 supplementary entries that have been taken for next Wednesday’s Goffs UK September HIT Sale at Doncaster, which will include the annual Gigginstown House Stud dispersal.

The supplementary catalogue features plenty of younger prospects, many with recent bumper form, and include:

  • Lot 166, Scots Poet, a five-year-old gelding by Yeats and the winner of his maiden bumper on his most recent start.
  • 167, Copper Point, a four-year-old gelding who placed second in a bumper on his second and most recent start.
  • 168, Belle Na Bann, a five-year-old Califet filly who placed third on her only start in a bumper.
  • 169, Motion In Limine, a winner over hurdles on his last start on just his fourth appearance under rules.
  • 170, Carcaci Castle, a five-year-old gelding by Getaway who won his maiden bumper on his most recent start.
  • 171, Adjali who is Grade 1-placed and a three-time winner over hurdles and fences.
  • 172, Offyoupop, a five-year-old gelding by Getaway who placed third in a bumper on his only start.
  • 173, Pont Aven, who is twice Grade 1-placed, a dual winner and placed third on his most recent start at Listed level over fences.
  • 174, Karl Der Grosse, the winner of his most recent start, a Class 3 chase, on only his third race over fences.
  • 176, Beau Jardine, a three-year-old colt by Make Believe out of a Listed-placed Acclamation mare and the winner of two of his four flat starts.

The Doncaster September HIT Sale will commence at 10am and the 20 supplementary entries have taken the total offering to 185 lots.

The main catalogue features 42 lots from the Gigginstown House Stud dispersal, which will include the Grade 1 winner Battleoverdoyen, who won at the Galway Festival on his most recent start, along with Grade 2 winners Cracking Smart, Dounikos, Eclair De Beaufeu and Mortal.
