New intake for Godolphin Flying Start course announced
Students from Britain, Ireland, France, the US and Australia
Godolphin Flying Start has announced the latest intake of scholarship recipients for its two-year thoroughbred industry management and leadership programme.
The class of 2018-20 comprises five men and seven women from Britain, Ireland, France, the US and Australia.
The new trainees, who start their training at Kildangan Stud on August 13, are:

- Samantha Cripps (US)
- Luke Evans (UK)
- Liza Hendricks (US)
- Amelie Lemercier (France)
- Annise Montplaisir (US)
- Niall O'Connor (UK)
- Isabella Paul (UK)
- Anna Power (Australia)
The Godolphin Flying Start course enables trainees to gain experience of how different elements of the thoroughbred industry are run and managed around the world, with students spending phases in County Kildare, Newmarket, Kentucky, Sydney and Dubai.
The course is accredited by the University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Business School.
Previous graduates include trainers Francis-Henri Graffard and Tom Morley, auctioneers Ludovic Cornuel and Matt Prior and agents Matt Coleman, Alex Elliott, Mick Flanagan, Tina Rau and Ed Sackville.
