Mustajeeb transferred to stand at Haras de Fleury in France

Son of Nayef was a triple Group winner

Mustajeeb: hails from the family of Anabaa Blue and Tamayuz

Royal Ascot winner Mustajeeb is on the move to join his fellow former Shadwell colourbearer Naaqoos at Haras de Fleury in north-east France.

The seven-year-old son of Nayef has spent the first two years of his stallion career at Overbury Stud in Gloucestershire and has covered 35 and 16 mares each season.

A sale to South Africa had been mooted for him last year but problems with the import prevented the move.

Trained by Dermot Weld for Hamdan Al Maktoum, Mustajeeb won four of his ten starts including the Amethyst Stakes and Jersey Stakes, both Group 3, at three and the Group 2 Greenlands Stakes at four.

He also finished third to Kingman in the Irish 2,000 Guineas.

Mustajeeb is a half-brother to the useful Muaanid and hails from the immediate family of Group 1 winners Anabaa Blue and Tamayuz (also by Nayef).

Further back it is the family of Urban Sea and her phenomenal sons Galileo and Sea The Stars.
