Mustajeeb on the move to Bush Hill Stud

His first foals from Overbury on the ground

Mustajeeb: wins the Group 3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot in 2014

Bush Hill Stud has gained a new recruit for the 2017 breeding season in Group 2-winning sprinter Mustajeeb.

The six-year-old son of Nayef - trained by Dermot Weld to win four races including the Greenlands and Jersey Stakes, the latter in a record time - will continue in the service of his owner-breeder Hamdan Al Maktoum. From the outstanding family of Allegretta, he is closely related to Tamayuz, who has enjoyed such success this spring.

Retired to stud in 2015, he took up stallion duties at Overbury Stud in Gloucestershire and his first foals are on the ground this spring.

A fee has yet to be announced for Mustajeeb at Bush Hill Stud.
