Montaigu releases 2018 fees for Wings Of Eagles' studmates
Leading jumps sire Martaline remains on €15,000
Haras de Montaigu released 2018 covering fees for the remainder of its six-strong roster on Tuesday, having already unveiled this year's Derby hero Wings Of Eagles' fee of €12,000 earlier this month.
The most expensive sire on the roster, Martaline, will continue to command a fee of €15,000. The Juddmonte homebred has been responsible for the likes of Agrapart, who earned an official hurdles rating of 155 for his win in the Relkeel Hurdle at Cheltenham on New Year's Day, and the high-class Dynaste.
Prince Gibraltar, who had his first foals on the ground this year, has had his fee clipped from €4,500 to €4,000. The son of Rock Of Gibraltar was trained by Jean-Claude Rouget to win the 1m2f Criterium de Saint-Cloud at two and Grosser Preis von Baden at four.
