Taylor Made Sales Agency will offer its first European consignment at the Tattersalls December Mare Sale, providing its customers with a new outlet to sell their high-quality offerings with European appeal.

The leading US consignor will offer fillies and mares who have made their mark in Group/Graded company on both sides of the Atlantic.

The market between the US and Europe is currently strong, with many Graded stakes performers in the US having started their careers in Europe, such as this year's Shoemaker Mile scorer Hunt.

US-breds are having another strong year, with Taylor Made having raised and sold Roaring Lion, the Coral-Eclipse and Juddmonte International hero who now looks a stallion in the making for Qatar Racing.

"We are always looking for ways to improve our customer's chances for success," said Mark Taylor, vice president of public sales for Taylor Made.

"We believe that our initial consignment at Tattersalls will maximise the value of our customer's horses while also opening up many new relationships.

"We have also developed a working relationship with Haras de Gouffern, who we will present a consignment with at Arqana in 2019. We will be releasing more details in the near future regarding that venture.”

Edmond Mahony, chairman of Tattersalls, added: "Taylor Made is synonymous with quality bloodstock and consummate professionalism and we are proud that they have chosen the Tattersalls December Sale for their first ever consignment in Europe."

Since its inception, Taylor Made has become a major player in the thoroughbred sales industry. The sales operation has been the leading consignor worldwide in terms of gross sales 18 of the last 20
years.

Last year, Taylor Made Sales Agency recorded a sales turnover of $86.8 million, with a top price of $9.5m for the champion mare Songbird, who was sold at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale.

Taylor Made currently stands five stallions, including two-time Horse of the Year California Chrome.
