The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association is supporting a showcase of stallions at the Goffs UK January Sale next Wednesday. The 15 National Hunt stallions will be available to view all day in Yard A.

Yorton Farm will show five of its six-strong roster headed by new recruit Clovis Du Berlais, as well as showing Blue Bresil, Gentlewave, Pether's Moon and Universal.

Overbury Stud will have Dunaden and Schiaparelli, Beech Tree Stud will present Geordieland and Saddler's Rock while Shade Oak Stud will show Scorpion and Telescope. Scorpion came close to having another Grade 1 winner when Might Bite fell at the last while leading in the Kauto Star Novices' Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.

Nunstainton Stud will present their newest recruit in Cannock Chase, with Native Ruler, Sun Central and Yorgunnabelucky completing the list.

Robert Waley-Cohen, chairman of the TBA National Hunt committee, said: "The TBA is delighted to be supporting a showcase of National Hunt stallions at a time when British National Hunt breeding has so much to celebrate.

"Cue Card, Rule The World and Thistlecrack are just some of the big-race winners to have been bred in Britain and the Goffs UK January Sale gives British National Hunt stallion masters and breeders the ideal platform to gather in one place to discuss mating plans for the forthcoming season."
