The Keeneland January Horses All Of Ages Sale kicks off its five-day run on Monday with 1,893 horses catalogued to go under the hammer.

A mix of broodmares, broodmare prospects, yearlings, horses of racing age, stallions and stallion prospects are among the lots on offer.

Eye-catching mares include the Unbridled’s Song mare Siren Serenade (lot 145), a half-sister to Grade 1 hero George Vancouver, who is in foal to leading American sire Tapit, and Grade 2 winner Thegirlinthatsong (186) who is in foal to Honor Code.

Seven mares in foal to Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup scorer American Pharoah will be offered at the auction including Divalarious (312), a nine-year-old daughter of Distorted Humor who is a half-sister to 1,000 Guineas heroine Sleepytime, and Mohini (453), a five-year-old daughter of Galileo who is from the family of dual Group 1 scorer Coup De Genie.

Well-bred yearlings set to go through the ring include a More Than Ready colt (1,265) from the family of Monsun, and a Street Sense (78) half-brother to Group/Grade 1 winners Certify and Cry And Catch Me.
