Industry experts with their picks for Saturday's Grand National

Colin Bowe, Donnchadh Doyle and Aiden Murphy share their tips

Minella Rocco: Colin Bowe thinks he looks good value at 20-1

With the 2018 Randox Health Grand National looming ever closer, we spoke to industry experts at Aintree on Thursday to find out who they are backing to write their name into racing history this weekend.

Colin Bowe, Milestone Stables Minella Rocco. He'll be doing his best work at the end of the race and he's good value at 20-1. As an outsider for the race I like Shantou Flyer, a previous graduate of mine, who ran well last time out at Cheltenham.

Donnchadh Doyle, Monbeg Stables The Last Samuri is my pick for this year's race. He's run well at Aintree before and he should like the ground conditions. I can also see Tiger Roll running a big race.

Regal Encore (green and yellow): Grand National could be the race for him

Aiden Murphy, agent Regal Encore is a horse who has always promised a lot and this could be the race for him.

Denis Murphy, Ballyboy Stables I have two for this race - Anibale Fly and Blaklion. Anibale Fly was third in the Gold Cup and that was a great run from him. That race seems to work well as preparation for the Grand National. As for Blaklion, Nigel Twiston-Davies is very good at setting up horses for the race and I was very impressed with his run here last year.

Olly Murphy, trainer Tiger Roll. He stays very well and hopefully it drys out a little bit between now and Sunday. He's got his jumping together and was very good at Cheltenham where I thought he ran very well.
