She has been with the sales company since 2008
Tattersalls Ireland has appointed Niamh Flynn as its new marketing manager with immediate effect.
Flynn, who is currently in the role of marketing and promotions co-ordinator, joined Tattersalls Ireland in 2008. She has been a key member of the marketing team at Tattersalls Ireland for the last nine years and helped the company make the transition into the modern digital marketing age.
A Galway native, Flynn began her bloodstock career with consignor Martin Cullinane, Peter Kavanagh's Kildaragh Stud and renowned racehorse trainer John Oxx before a spell with Bank of Ireland.
She holds marketing qualifications from Dublin Institute of Technology and the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
Speaking on her appointment, Flynn said: "I have witnessed the many changes in the way that marketing is conducted in the bloodstock industry over the past number of years and I look forward to embracing the new challenges that my appointment brings, ensuring Tattersalls Ireland reaches out to as many people through traditional and alternative media and marketing channels."
