Five additional entries have been accepted for the Goffs UK Aintree Sale, which will now offer 27 exciting point-to-pointers and form horses after racing on the opening day of the Randox Health Grand National festival at Aintree on Thursday.

The five supplementary lots are:

Lot 8 Hill Sixteen, a five-year-old son of Court Cave who won on his debut for Colin Bowe at Dromahane on Sunday

Lot 15 Tortuga Bay, a four-year-old Sulamani filly who was an eight-length winner on her debut for Philip Rowley at Brampton Bryan on Saturday

Lot 16 Shannon Hill, a four-year-old Kayf Tara gelding who won on his debut for Francesca Nimmo at Brampton Bryan on Saturday

Lot 24 Kensukes Kingdom, a five-year-old son of Stowaway who was an eight-length winner of his most recent pioint for Roisin Hickey at Tallow in February

Lot 25 Eurobot, a four-year-old Malinas gelding who was a 20-length winner on his debut between the flags for Tom Ellis at Andoversford on Sunday

This will be the third renewal of the Aintree Sale, which is famed for selling the unbeaten Ballymore Novices' Hurdle winner Samcro – hailed by many as the most exciting jumper for years – for £335,000 in 2016.

Other leading graduates include Black Op, who finished second to Samcro at the Cheltenham Festival, Grade 3-winning Hurdler Topofthegame, who was narrowly beaten in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham, and Grade 2 winners Blackbow and Constantine Bay.
