Champion Stakes winner Sealiway enters stud for €12,000
Chehboub family's new operation is also standing Intello and Stunning Spirit
Sealiway is to stand his first season at a fee of €12,000 at the Chehboub family's newly-formed Haras de Beaumont in Normandy.
The owners of last year's Champion Stakes winner have purchased land at the Head family's Haras du Quesnay and are offering him on live foal terms.
Sealiway, a son of Galiway raced in partnership between the Chehboubs' Haras de la Gousserie and breeder Guy Pariente, won the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at two and also finished second to St Mark's Basilica in the Prix du Jockey Club as a three-year-old.
Intello moves across from Quesnay but his fee will be unchanged at €8,000 for 2023. The Jockey Club winner has sired top-class performers Intellogent and Adhamo and has the exciting Maniatic with Andre Fabre for next year's Classics.
The third member of the roster is former Haras du Hoguenet resident Stunning Spirit. The well-related son of Invincible Spirit and Group 3-winning miler will stand for €3,000 with his first foals born this year.
