A victory at Lingfield for The Nosey Parker was not the sporting first that Kerrie Leonard would have been dreaming of at the beginning of 2020.

Had all gone to plan in a qualification tournament in the spring, the 29-year-old would have appeared at her first Paralympics as the sole member of the Irish archery team in Tokyo. Only there was no tournament to begin with.

"April was when I was going for the European championships and up until ten days before the competition, I was getting on the plane, nothing had been cancelled," she explains.
