Classic prospect Mascha to be offered in online auction

Le Havre filly won a German Oaks trial on her second start on Saturday

Mascha skips clear to win the Listed Kronimus Diana-Trial at Baden-Baden on Saturday

Classic prospect Mascha will be offered for sale on Arqana's online sales platform after the three-year-old Le Havre filly stamped her German Oaks credentials with a runaway win in the Listed Kronimus Diana-Trial at Baden-Baden on Saturday.

That performance was awarded a rating of 98, the third highest for a three-year-old filly in Germany, only three pounds below the German 1,000 Guineas placegetters Malakeh and Go Rose.

Trained by Andreas Suborics, Mascha made her debut at Saint-Cloud in mid-May in a well-contested fillies' maiden where she found only Francis-Henri Graffard's Fierte D'Amour too good. The latter is a sister to Pattern winner Mango Tango and is scheduled to run in the Listed Prix Melisande at Longchamp on Sunday.

Mascha was bred by Larissa Kneip at her Haras de Saint-Arnoult and already turned many heads at last year's Arqana Breeze-Up Sale, where she topped the Saint-Arnoult consignment when selling for €170,000.

Registrations for the sale are now open at Arqanaonline.com. The auction will start at 10am local time (9am BST) on Monday and will close the same day at 7pm local time (6pm BST).
