National Defense and Decorated Knight are set to join Invincible Spirit
Cathal Beale is just three months into his tenure as chief executive of the Irish National Stud but has already overseen the addition of Group 1 winners National Defense and Decorated Knight to the stud's 2018 roster.
The stud, home to the inimitable Invincible Spirit, is also eagerly awaiting the first Free Eagle foals hitting the sales and has Gale Force Ten's first two-year-olds to look forward to next year. In this insightful interview he chats to the Racing Post's Martin Stevens about life in his new role, the history of the stud and his plans for its future.
