American Belle, a half-sister to four-time Group 1 winner Ombudsman, is among the early highlights for the Tattersalls Online September Sale, which takes place on September 15-16.

The dual-winning daughter of Starspangledbanner is out of the winning Dansili mare Syndicate, herself a sister to Group 3 Premio Carlo Vittadini winner Runnymede and dual Listed winner Stipulate, who was also Group 2-placed.

Ombudsman, by Night Of Thunder, has won nine races and is joint-top of the global ratings. His victories include the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot in both 2025 and 2026, the Juddmonte International at York and the Dubai Turf at Meydan.

American Belle is also a half-sister to three-year-old Synchronicity, a sister to Ombudsman who won on her debut over seven furlongs at Newbury in April for trainer Ed Walker and TBT Racing.

The family has continued to strengthen, with two-year-old half-sister Syndicale, by Ten Sovereigns, winning on her debut in July before finishing second at Haydock last month. She holds an entry in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes.

American Belle will be offered by Mount Farm Stud on behalf of BBP Racing, who purchased her for 24,000gns at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale in 2023. She will come under the hammer in foal to Juddmonte's Group 1-winning stallion Lead Artist.

The full catalogue for the September Sale is due to be published on September 9, with wildcard entries accepted until 3pm on September 11.
