Forbidden Fire kick-started what could be a massive weekend for her dam, Arabian Queen, when running out an eye-catching winner of the Listed Betfred Flying Scotsman Stakes at Doncaster on Friday.

The Jeff Smith homebred is the third significant winner and fifth black-type earner out of the 2015 Juddmonte International winner. The daughter of No Nay Never was making it two wins from as many starts after a five-and-a-half-length Salisbury romp last month.

Forbidden Fire is a half-sister to dual Group 2 Middleton Fillies' Stakes winner See The Fire, who bids for an elusive first top-level win in Saturday's EP Taylor Stakes at Woodbine, and this year's Group 2 Italian Derby winner Venetian Prince. That St Mark's Basilica colt was last seen finishing a close second in the Group 3 Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor on Monday.

Trained by Andrew Balding, like all her siblings, Forbidden Fire is also a half-sister to stakes performers Royal Playwright and Arabian Storm. Yet another highly rated half-brother, last year's Northumberland Plate winner Spirit Mixer, is due to defend his title in the valuable Watergate Cup at Chester on Saturday.

See The Fire was recently announced as part of the offering in the Sceptre Sessions at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale.

Littleton Stud's general manager David Bowe told Sky Sports Racing: "It’s extraordinary. Arabian Queen, what a mare. She's back in foal to Sea The Stars and she keeps on going.

"Forbidden Fire's Salisbury run was really good, she was a little bit green but she's come on leaps and bounds from it. Her work at home has been absolutely spot on. Taking on the colts was a big ask, but she did it very impressively.

"She's such a beautiful filly and the mare has been a foundation hasn't she?"

Forbidden Fire was continuing a successful link between No Nay Never and Smith. The leading owner-breeder purchased the Coolmore sire's Alcohol Free from Goffs as a foal and she carried his silks to wins in the Cheveley Park Stakes, Coronation Stakes, Sussex Stakes and July Cup before being sold on for 5,400,000gns.

Wathnan Racing's Sioux Nation gelding Final Objective came out on top of a dramatic Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes, going one better than his second in last month's Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes at York.

The Richie Galway and Justin Carthy-bred juvenile, a £115,000 purchase by Blandford Bloodstock at this year's Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale, was continuing Sioux Nation's red-hot form with his juveniles.

The Coolmore resident's two-year-olds of 2026 also include Phoenix Stakes winner and impressive Harry's Half Million scorer Sun Goddess, last weekend's Prix d'Aumale winner Rogue Passion and unbeaten dual winner Lex Victoria.

The last-named, who topped the Arqana Breeze-Up Sale this year when selling to Stroud Coleman for €1.1 million, made it two from two with a clearcut score at Kempton on Wednesday.

Final Objective’s dam Sneaky Snooze, who has also produced multiple all-weather winner Midnight Call, has a Blackbeard yearling colt who is set to be offered as lot 744 in Book 2 of the upcoming Goffs Orby Yearling Sale.
